Benefits at a Glance

As an employee of Cavenaugh Automotive you will have access to one of the most generous benefit packages available. An overview of what is currently offered can be seen below, but remember we are a dynamic organization and our benefits are subject to change, remember to discuss this with your hiring manager.

Group Health:  Cavenaugh Automotive offers group health insurance after 90 days of full time employment. 
Bruce pays 99% of the employee’s health care premium expense. The employees cost is 1% of the total premium or approximately $3.50 per month for employee only coverage. All spouse, children, and family coverage is paid by the employee.
   
Dental Coverage: This plan covers annual routine care along with basic restorative paid at 80% and major restorative paid at 50%.
Bruce pays 99% of the employee’s dental premium expense. The employee cost is 1% of the total premium, or approximately .50 cents per month for employee only coverage. All spouse, children, and family coverage is paid by the employee.
   
Life Insurance: All employees are provided with a $15,000 life insurance policy. All employees are included, no exclusions or physicals required at this time.
The cost to the employee is Ø. This is 100% employer paid.
   
401 (k) and Profit Sharing Plan: This is an employer match program. The match is up to 100% of the first 4% contributed. The 401(k) program has an eligibility requirement of 90 days of employment.
   
Vacation:  Vacation time begins to accrue on the first day of hire at a rate of 3.33 hours per month. Accrued vacation time is available to be taken at the 91st day of employment. Employees are given 1 week of vacation per year for years one through four, and two weeks per year beginning at year five (5). The vacation benefit for sales is different. Please see your hiring manager with questions.
   
Personal Time:  Personal time is to be used at the employees’ discretion and is offered in lieu of “sick time”. Personal time begins to accrue on the first day of hire at a rate of 3.33 hours per month. Employees are given 5 days of personal time per year and are eligible for this benefit by department. The personal time benefit for sales is different. Please see your hiring manager with questions.

Application for Employment

All candidates for employment with Cavenaugh Automotive must fully complete, date, and sign the dealership's standard employment application form. (A resume will not be accepted in lieu of a completed employment application.) The application form should be completed in detail and signed by the applicant to verify the accuracy and completeness of previous employment and personal information.   The dealership may investigate any portion of the requested information and may deny or later terminate the employment of anyone giving false, misleading, or incomplete information. 

It is Cavenaugh Automotive’s policy to employ a work force free from alcohol abuse or the use of illegal drugs. As a candidate for employment you will be expected to undergo a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, the result of this test may affect any offer of employment that has been made.
