Bruce Cavenaugh announced changes affecting the organizational structure of Cavenaugh Automotive during a company meeting on Monday, October 20, 2008. Industry analysts are predicting that national  vehicle sales this year are expected to be 20-25% less than what we have seen previously, causing concern throughout the automotive industry. As a result, Mr. Cavenaugh has decided to temporarily close operations at both the AutoMart and AutoPalace streamlining all operations to the Suzuki SuperStore. This consolidation will allow his operation to stay competitive throughout any possible decreases in the market, and continue to provide the same exceptional sales and service traditional of a Cavenaugh Dealership. Bruce stated, “because of these changes, we will be able to keep costs low, provide a higher quality of service, and continue to pass savings along to our customers.” This decision was made preemptively to remain exceedingly competitive throughout any changes in the market. Bruce affirmed, “By watching and cutting our expenses we can continue to sell cars for less than our competition.”
